Finally, I’ve tasted okonomiyaki, the popular dish in Kansai, yesterday. A whole lot of different ingredients are cooked in kind of savoury pancake (I couldn’t define what were there exactly – flour and vegetables, for sure) with a variety of fillings (I’ve eaten with squid). That pancakes are topped with bonito flakes and are fried on a teppan, or special hotplate.

The customer’s tables are also with those hotplates in okonomiyaki restaurants.

It was very delicious!! I recommend that you should taste okonomiyaki by all means!
