From yesterday (12/28) while visiting Tondaya you are able to admire beautiful New Year`s decoration. Yesterday from the morning in our house preparations for making this decoration were made. It was very exciting for me because in Poland we don`t have this kind of decoration, and we celebrate New Year`s time in completely different way.

Every year God of New Year comes from different direction. That`s why every year the decoration which is made for that god should be turned in that specific direction. Defining the lucky direction is not so easy. There is a special small book with many guidelines that should be taken into consideration while defining the lucky direction for new year.

Tondaya is looking forward to welcoming New Year. I`m really happy that I can spend this time in Japan. I heard a lot about New Year`s celebrations and visiting shrines during that time. I think it`ll be really amazing time.
