Ohara and Kurama
On one November weekend I went with my friends on a one day trip. We went to Ohara and to Kurama to admire beautiful momiji. Because it was weekend there were many people visiting this places as well. Ohara is a beautiful, montainous village. We took a stroll around. At the beginning there were many people and many stalls with local goods for sale. We tried some pickles, salad dressings and sweets. A little farther we saw a beautiful temple. We admired it and its amazing garden. Inside we had the opportunity to drink matcha. After that we continued our walk. We was walking around the wood. There were fewer people so it was very pleasant. The weather was really good, the sun was shining. The colours of leaves were really wonderful. Finally we reached a waterfall. Then we walked a little more in that area.
We went back to Kyoto from where we catched a train to Kurama. It was already getting dark. When we got to Kurama we were able to see the light up there. It was really nice. We walked to the shrine and after a while of walking around we went back to the station and to Kyoto. We were very tired but whole day was very interesting and we really enjoyed it.
