Ginkaku-ji
On Sunday morning I decided to visit Ginkaku-ji, known also as the Silver Pavilon. I don`t have luck in visiting the main sightseeing spots in Kyoto, they are usually under construction. Also Ginkaku-ji is now being renovated. Even though I went inside. I heard a lot about this place and I really wanted to see it. The weather was nice because sun was shining but still it was very cold. It was just after 9 so it was very good time to visit this place because not so many people were there yet. Only the main attraction, the Silver Pavilon itself was under construction. The rest of space there was really nice to see, and the view from there was really nice. When I was going out, many tourists were coming inside. That`s why I recommend to visit this kind of places early in the morning. It`s really nice to see this place not being surrounded by crowds. Very close to Ginkaku-ji starts its way the Path of Philosophy. Really ncie place for a walk, however not so good for winter time as its too cold for long walks. However I`ve never seen this place so I went there by bicycle. I met maybe 2 people on my way there, I quess because it was too cold and too early. But because of that it was very pleasant place, very beautiful and very calm.
