Kobe
Yesterday I decided to visit Kobe. I wanted to see some place which is different from Kyoto and chosing Kobe was really good decision. I didn`t want to spend another day on visiting many temples and shrines. Although I like it very much, I really wanted to spend my day in some other way.
Before I went there I found information that it`s one of the most cosmopolitan cities in Japan. And it`s true, I could feel it on every street and in every place in Kobe.
The city is really amazing. The mountains and the sea in such a close distance is very unusual for me. Probably that`s why I like this place so much. First I saw the Sannomiya Station surrounding and then I wanted to see the seashore. On my way I had the opportunity to enjoy Chinatown - it looked really amazing but it was very crowded. I found the sea very peaceful. I saw the Port Tower and Harborland. I like looking at water, so I spent there some time admiring everything that was surrounding me and enjoying every moment. I wandered around seaside for a while, but I wanted also to see mountains so I went back. While I was walking in the mountainous region of Kobe, I reached Kitano area. It was completely different from the rest of the city. It looked like a little mountain village. Simply amazing to be in place like this. And then I went to the Mount Rokko from which I could admire wonderful view on the port area of Kobe and its two artificial islands. While going down I walked through the Herb Garden. It was very cold but it was worth to go there. Views were really amazing and, as always, I took a lot of pictures. It was unforgettable for me.
